Why We Built Naripod
Everyone has stories worth telling. We just made it easier to share them.
The problem we saw
There's something magical about hearing someone tell a story in their own voice. The pauses, the laughter, the way their voice changes when they get to the important part. You can't get that from text.
But sharing audio stories has always been complicated. Podcasting requires equipment, editing software, RSS feeds, and an ongoing commitment most people can't make. Social media is built for video and text, not voice.
So most people never share their stories at all.
We realized that we didn't need more "shows"—we needed more stories. You can read more about our philosophy on why Naripod is for stories, not shows.
What we believe
Real is better than perfect
We believe in the power of unscripted, human connection. No AI-generated voices, no synthetic scripts. Just the raw, imperfect, and beautiful sound of real people sharing their lives.
Your voice is enough
You don't need production quality or a radio voice. Even if you "hate how you sound" on tape, there's a scientific reason for that—and why the rest of us actually love it.
Sharing should take minutes, not weeks
If you can talk, you can share. No equipment, no editing, no learning curve. Just your phone and something to say.
Ordinary stories matter
You don't need to have climbed Everest. The everyday moments are what connect us. In fact, the math proves that your story isn't too ordinary.
You control your story
Share with your name or anonymously. Share one story or many. Share publicly or just with people you choose. It's your voice, your rules.
What we're building toward
We imagine a world where sharing a story is as easy as telling one. Where someone's grandparent can record their memories without needing help. Where a teenager can share what they're going through without being on camera. Where the stories that never get told finally have a place.
We're building a tool to close the legacy gap for families and give a platform to underrepresented voices everywhere.
Naripod is just the beginning. We're building a library of human experience, one raw voice at a time.
Be part of it
We're just getting started, and we'd love for you to be one of the early voices.
