Naripod is for Stories, Not Shows

If you open Spotify or Apple Podcasts right now, you will find millions of options.
You will find interviews. You will find news roundups. You will find movie reviews. You will find two comedians talking about nothing for three hours. You will find “shows.”
Podcasts are an incredible format, but they have become a catch-all for everything audio. And when a format can be everything, it sometimes struggles to be one specific thing well.
Naripod is different. Naripod is not for shows. It is for stories.
What Do We Mean by “Stories”?
We use the word “story” strictly.
- A rant about politics? Not a story.
- An interview with an expert? Not a story.
- A review of the new Marvel movie? Not a story.
A story is a narrative. It has a beginning, a middle, and an end. It is a sequence of events that happened to a person, recounted by a voice.
It creates a specific kind of magic. When someone says, “Let me tell you what happened to me yesterday,” our brains actually shift gears. We lean in. We are wired for narrative in a way we aren’t wired for “content.”
Why the Constraint Matters
In a world of infinite choice, constraints are freedom.
When you open a podcast app, you don’t know what you’re going to get. Is this episode 5 minutes or 5 hours? Is it funny or serious? Do I need to start from episode 1?
When you open Naripod, you know exactly what you are getting: A human voice telling a true story.
This constraint allows for a different kind of listening. It’s perfect for the 5-minute wait for the bus. It’s perfect for the 10-minute drive to the grocery store. It’s “snackable” but deep.
Authenticity Over Production
Because we focus on stories, not shows, the metrics for success are different.
In podcasting, you need a good microphone. You need editing software. You need intro music. You need a “brand.” (The time commitment for even a simple show can be staggering.)
On Naripod, none of that matters. You don’t need a studio; you need a memory. You don’t need an editor; you need a hook.
The storytellers who rise to the top on Naripod aren’t the ones with the most expensive gear. They are the ones who can hold a room. They are the ones who are vulnerable, funny, and real.
No Episodes, Just Moments
Naripod doesn’t have “seasons.” We don’t have “episodes.”
We have moments.
You might record one story today and not record another for six months. That’s fine. You aren’t “abandoning your audience.” You are just living your life until you have another story to tell.
We built this platform for people, not content machines.
Your Place to Tell
If you have ever thought, “I have a great story, but I don’t want to start a podcast,” Naripod was built for you.
We stripped away the “show” business so you could focus on the story business.
Your story is waiting. Press record.
